The Members Benevolent Fund (MBF) is continuing to support members of the profession who are experiencing hardship due to the impact of Coronavirus and COVID-19. Auriga Services, our administration partner, are processing further applications and answering enquiries on behalf of the MBF.
The MBF has also been successful in receiving a grant award from the new COVID-19 Healthcare Support Appeal (CHSA) (established to support health and care workers in the UK during and after the current COVID-19 pandemic) which will help secure the ability of the MBF to support members experiencing hardship.
If you feel you might be able to support other members of our profession in difficulty, you can contribute to the work of the MBF by text. Text MBF, followed by the amount you would like to donate, to 70085 (for example, to give £20.00, text MBF 20 to 70085.
The MBF will do all it can to support members in difficult circumstances and if you are experiencing hardship or are aware of any colleagues or friends in need of assistance, this page on our website will be able to provide all the information you need.
