The Members Benevolent Fund (MBF) has received over 20 applications for support and is assisting 18 members of the profession who are experiencing hardship due to the impact of Coronavirus. Auriga Services, our administration partner, are processing further applications and answering enquiries on behalf of the MBF.
The MBF is also supporting the new COVID-19 Healthcare Support Appeal (CHSA) as it is established to fund activities that will support health and care workers in the UK during and after the current COVID-19 pandemic.
If you feel you might be able to support other members of our profession experiencing hardship, you can contribute to the work of the MBF by text. Text MBF, followed by the amount you would like to donate, to 70085 (for example, to give £20.00, text MBF 20 to 70085.
